The Seneca Nation of Indians endeavors to preserve its rich cultural heritage, owning the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, and the Seneca Gaming and Entertainment in Irving. McPhee completed all electrical work for construction of the Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel and Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. Both casinos feature high-quality lighting control systems that create exciting visual environments. Combined, both locations have more than 215,000 square feet of gaming, award wining eateries, and retail shops as well as deluxe accomodations in the multi-story resort.
The Allegany Casino was completed as a joint venture agreement with fellow FEC member Ferguson/White. McPhee performed procurement services for 15kV metering gear, main switchboard, UPS battery cabinet, UPS- MBP/XFMR, and a 800KW generator. McPhee also provided procurement of two 2000kVa transformers and cellular floor system. The electrical installation by McPhee included distribution equipment, UPS system, generator, conduit and wiring, branch power, motor branch and equipment, grounding and lightning protection, and heat trace.
McPhee was involved with two separate sections of the Seneca Niagara Casino project. The first section required McPhee to wire the 100,000 square foot casino that was a renovation of an existing convention center. After that, McPhee added 16,000 square feet to the nonsmoking casino and laid 100,000 feet of cable.
At both locations, installation of security and camera systems, slot/gaming table power and data was self-performed by McPhee Electric, Ltd.
